We partner with entities who are locally engaged to bring our programs and projects to the community. In Tajikistan, our partner is Ravshandilon, A Public Organization that focuses on educational and health related community building activities. Together, with our funding support and Ravshandilon’s boots on the ground and relationships, we are able to identify community needs, not only in larger towns of Gorno Badakshan, like Rushan, Khorog and Ishkasim, but also in smaller villages located in very remote locations that are generally neglected by larger NGOs. In Northern Pakistan, we work with representatives of the Aga Khan Education Services – Pakistan (AKES-P) to determine which schools need our assistance. Once a project is identified, we work in collaboration with representatives of the village or town and the AKES-P. Local buy-in of our work allows us to be effective in the deployment of our resources and increases the odds of success.

In the US, we work with the Mehrali Foundation to assist them with sending funds to college students in Tajikistan. The Mehrali Foundation goes through a rigorous needs and merit based analysis each year for ten students, and these ten students from each year receive their college fees paid for a four-year program. We assist Mehrali Foundation with the transfer of the funds and ensuring that the student who is supposed to receive the funds actually receives it. We have also worked with the World Education Fund of the Dallas Foundation on various projects in our respective geographies of interest. We are always open to working with other Foundations and NGOs who have objectives that are consistent with ours.
